Property Description
Discover an extraordinary opportunity to own a piece of history on 18+ acres surrounding the most exquisite trophy trout waters in Northeast GA: the Soque River. Tranquility House is a custom built 4BR/4BA estate spanning over 6500 sq ft, with black walnut floors, a chef's kitchen, double ovens, gas cooktop in the expansive granite island, endless wrap around porches, detached 4 car garage, an enormous master en suite with heated floors, walk in cedar closet and many more custom touches. The terrace level features two bedrooms, full kitchen, a sauna and huge great room with wood burning fireplace. It is built on the original brick & stone generator plant that once powered Habersham Mills in the early 1900's. This architectural masterpiece sits below the historic dam, where trophy trout & other fish are naturally concentrated in the waters, unable to migrate upstream, which creates an exceptional fishing haven for the discerning angler. An hour northeast of Atlanta. Close to 365N, Lake Burton, shopping, hospitals, and schools. Currently in Conservation. Listed below appraised value.
